Finance Director/Clerk to the Board

The Eaton County Road Commission is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Finance Director/Clerk to the Board. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, and at least five years of related experience including supervision of staff. Additional requirements include the ability to prepare and maintain accurate financial and other records, correspondence, and reports, and to work cooperatively with other employees, appointed officials, and the public. Candidates should be able to demonstrate advanced skill in the use of office equipment and technology.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and knowledge of road agency accounting concepts are preferred. Competitive salary and benefit package. Heavy Truck Operator - Labor Group II

The Eaton County Road Commission is accepting applications/resumes for full time positions in Labor Group II - Heavy Truck Operators. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience operating tandem axle trucks, familiarity with the operation of road maintenance and construction equipment, and a commercial driver's license Class A. Starting wage for theese positions is $19.36/hour with a competitive benefit package.

Temporary Seasonal Snowplow Drivers

The Eaton County Road Commission is seeking qualified applicants for TEMPORARY SEASONAL positions in Labor Group II - Heavy Truck Operators. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience operating tandem axle trucks, familiarity with the operation of road maintenance and construction equipment, and a commercial driver's license with "A" endorsement. Prior snowplow experience is preferred. Assignments in these positions will be part-time intermittent beginning in December 2019 through March 2020. Duties will include snow storm related plowing and salting of roads on any work shift. Paid training will be provided after hire. Starting wage for theese positions is $19.36/hour.
